There are few things more soothing at wonderful than lighting up a sky lantern, waiting for it to fill with hot air and letting it float off. With every passing second, you can feel the lantern fill itself up with something invisible but so true and heartfelt – you can think of it as just air, some think of it as wishes, some think of it as hope for the future. This is one of those places that’s on everyone’s to see and do list- whether you’re 20 or 80. Irrespective of age, this is something that one must see at least once in this lifetime! So get your pen out and write it down in your bucket list.

It’s one of the most photographed seaside towns in the history of photography, but there’s a reason for it. Regardless of how many times you’ve seen this photo or something like it, you can’t help but imagine all the lives that take place inside these adorable houses or being right there, on the island, living right by this picturesque seaside beauty.

This sandstone formation is as beautiful in real life as it is in the photos and it’s definitely worth the melting Arizona heat. Google ranks it as one of the most beautiful natural formations in the world and not without reason

Scandinavian countries are viewed as a distant dream to 2-somethings, but trust us, it’s a lot more fulfilling than the usual booze cruise or Eurotrip, although we have nothing but good feelings for both! The Carnival in Brazil is something we recommend everyone to see at least once. And if you’re the daring kind, throw off your shoes and shirt and join the party! Brazilians are known as some of the friendliest, loveliest people and will always welcome a dance buddy.

This is one of the few places on the planet that still doesn’t have a McDonald’s so you better hurry and get to it before things change. The penguins, the ice caps, the blue waters are such captivating sights that we doubt you’d ever want to come back from this gorgeous place.
